Happy 10 Months Aaron

Somehow our little guy is already 10 months old!  At the doctors a few weeks ago they said that Aaron is 18 lbs 5 oz.  He is in the 10th percentile for weight and the 25th percentile for height.  No wonder he is still wearing some 3-6 month clothes!  Sorry little guy, but if you accept now that size just isn't in your genes there will be less of an adjustment when you are 18 .
Lately Aaron has been pulling himself up onto everything and cruising around.  Sunday at a friends house he used a pack n' play to climb onto the couch.  They had a baby toy up there that must have really be enticing (you know, since we have the same one at home).  Aaron is also crawling on his knees.  I think that it is hilarious to watch because his movements are so mechanical.  He looks like one of those crawling baby dolls, only cuter!  He is also getting rather vocal.  Aaron has figured out that 'ma ma ma' gets my attention.  He also likes 'da da da' and 'ba ba ba' for about anything else.
We keep saying Aaron will walk soon, but he hasn't yet.  He will stand for a few seconds if you let go.  That has actually become his favorite game.  He crawls over and pulls himself up, then I get him standing and let go.  Then he falls forward and I catch him.  It makes him smile and we play quite a bit.  He also enjoys running crazy in the walker.  I'm a bit concerned though, he seems to think the walker is a bumper car.  It is amusing for now, I just hope he doesn't drive like that!
Finally, here are some things that I love about Aaron at 10 months:
He still has only two teeth, so that little gummy grin is super cute

His hair is so blond that the sun glares off of it like it would a bald head

After a bottle his hair is all messy on the back of his head

He is still cuddly sometimes when he is sleepy

He is generally very happy

He makes faces that just make us laugh

He likes to play games like peek-a-boo by himself with toys

The way he lights up when he sees us

He is very much a boy, playing with balls and throwing or dismantling anything he can, and eating, eating, eating

His perfectly round head

He follows his sister around like an obnoxious little brother already
