And as for Ally...

Ally is simply hilarious.  She is continually saying things that surprise us and make us laugh.  Lately she has been doing this in the morning when it is time to wake up.  Sunday I opened the door to her room so that the noise would get her up.  Mike walked near her room and she said, "my door is open."  Mike replied, "yes, we need to get up for church."  Ally told him, "close my door, I'm sleeping."  Sheesh, if she's like this now, what will she be like as a teenager?
This year Halloween was a more exciting event for Ally.  Since she still obsesses about the band (at all hours of the day she'll say, "sshhh, what do I hear?  Is it the band?") she was naturally a band member for Halloween.  She got to dress up for story hour where we did a parade, she trick-or-treated in the neighborhood, and we did Boo at the Zoo.  So, every day, Ally now asks if we are trick-or-treating.  She also go to carve pumpkins, which she found to be too goopy to touch so mommy had to do most of the work.

Ally and Aaron have been interacting more lately.  There is a decent mix between happy interactions and harassment by either side (though one is a bot more intentional).  Somehow, even when she refuses to share toys, Ally has taken to sharing food with Aaron.  I know this is dangerous as now she may feed him anything, but it is so cute to see her bite a cheeseball in half and give him the other half as she say, "here you go little buddy."

She can be very sweet with Aaron.  She kisses him on the head, gives him hugs, shares food, teaches him to 'say' things.  Nana has influenced her as the other day she took his binkie and told me "I took Aaron's binkie so I could hear him talk."  But as sweet as she is one minute, the next she is tackling him or stealing his toys.  Poor Aaron, but I guess that is what little brothers are for.

Ally's conversations these days are great.  She can truly converse like an adult, she just lacks the logic (though so do some adults).  I love when she uses phrases like: well actually, so..., not yet, in a minute, that's right, it's ok, I missed you!  However she will repeat herself until you answer her or repeat what she said exactly.  I'm noticing that she can be very particular.
