Ally's been busy...

...and mommy has neglected to write about it. I realized the other day that Ally was mentioned in 2 friends' blogs but didn't have any new updates of her own. Ooops. Here's what she's been up to:
Until recently we were enjoying the pools. There is a free wading pool nearby that we visited a few times and we also went to Waterworks and Maca pools. Ally enjoyed all the water fun. The last time we went to Waterworks she had no fear walking under the streams of water and would even pull on the rope that made water gush on her head. She also was really 'digging' the sandbox at Waterworks - I think she'd have done that all day if we had let her.

Ally also finally got to see an elephant! We went to the Columbus Zoo where all of the Cleveland elephants are hanging out until their house is finished. Ally even got to see a baby elephant. It was a great zoo, but the day that we were there it was about 90 degrees so we didn't see quite everything.

Ally was very excited to see the tiger - she growled at him as he went by.

Ally was too enthralled with the fish to pose for a picture with Kerri and Avery.

Ally went on her first carousel ride at the Zoo - she didn't really care for it.

One of Ally's newest hobbies is lining up pantry items. I'm not sure what the thought process is behind it, but she makes a bee-line for that cabinet any time the kitchen gate is open. I'm beginning to worry she may be a little bit OCD.

Ally's biggest news is that she is going to have a baby brother. We are currently working to get the office turned into Ally's new room. It will be purple - her favorite color according to mommy (actually she seemed to prefer a color called 'shrimp' that was a bright peachy pink but we decided purple was better). We are hoping to get her new room done soon so that she can move in long before baby has to 'evict' her.
